TOPIC: THE PATHWAYS TO KINGDOM PROSPERITY
TEXT: Dan 2:47-49
A, INTRODUCTION
The Bible makes it clear that the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof (Psalm 24:1). Silver and gold belong to God (Hosea 2:8-9). This means, there is no one who is richer than God; and there is no one that can make a person rich like God. However, the riches of God are sponsored by the principles or secrets of God. Therefore, there are pathways to divine provisions. We shall look at these secrets or pathways from the life of Daniel who was unusually wealthy in the land of Babylon.
B. The Pathways To Kingdom Prosperity
1. The Knowledge of God. The knowledge of God is a secret of supplies from God (Daniel 11:32). The extent to which you know God is the extent to which you would see the goodness of God. The people that know their God shall have financial strength. Your root in the knowledge of God determines the reach of your riches on earth. (Psalm 1:1-3)
2. Freedom from defilement. To refuse to sin is agree to shine (Daniel 1:8). Nothing corrupts destiny like sin. To sin is to sink your financial resources. When you are defiled by sin, you are denied the supplies of heaven.
3. Absolute commitment to commandment. To be committed to God is to be uplifted in life because God is a Rewarder of those who seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). You cannot be committed and not be contented; you cannot be committed and be frustrated in life (Psalm 37:25).
4. Interest in people. Interest in people is critical to accessing kingdom wealth. Daniel was promoted by the king and he demanded that his friends should be equally promoted (Daniel 2:49). Beloved, God is ready to take you far in life as long as you are willing to travel with others. To travel alone is to have a very short journey in life.
